A soldier rarely got what he wanted. It was a lesson most learnt very quickly. Outside the realm of war, a soldier’s desires were not so much to ask. Appetising food. A comfortable bed. New boots. Then there were gentlemen from marginally more distinguished backgrounds, who had arrived at war expecting better for themselves. They wanted power, the home comforts they were used to, and to be excused from that they thought beneath their calibre. These men made bad comrades.
Title: My Way
Characters: William De Lancey/Duke of Wellington
Summary: Wellington tests De Lancey’s self-discipline.
Prompt: How about a fic featuring a really randy De Lancey being taught a lesson in patience by Lord Wellington? I’d love it if someone ran wild with this!
